I fell like starting a fight today so....
Why the hell has TX been ignored on the last 2 Social D tour trips 'round the country ? Dallas on St. Patricks Day & Austin in November is weak, weak, weak.
September of 2004 - 6 cities all over the great state of Texas & all were sold out.
Don't get me started on the UK & Europe.
What do y'all think?

Relax dude, the Austin Nov. 1st show will be that intense and will sell-out quickly due to the fact that that's their only Texas date. Just be thankfully that we have this one to look forward to. I know what you mean though, Social D. kicked off the SL&RR Tour in Texas last year and I was present for the first 3 shows, and yes they were amazing. You would think that they would hit Dallas and Houston too at least, but Austin is still one of the best cities to see "the greatest rock and roll band" in. Stubb's has a great PA system and they get voted "Best Live Music Venue" in Austin almost evey year. Their capacity is something like 2,500. I'm from San Antonio, and my crew and I will be there...

Actually it's on a Tuesday night. That is 2 months away so you shouldn't have a problem getting time off. Let me know if you go...Maybe we can meet before the show...

Don't feel too sorry for yourself, they haven't come to Nebraska since jan. 1997, and I have to drive a minimum of 8 hours to see them. It's well worth it though.

Let's see, since I've lived in Kentucky, I've seen SxDx in Nevada, California, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Ohio and Indiana. They haven't done any Kentucky shows (Louisville/Lexington) since '97. At least Ness did a show in Louisville on the Under The Influences tour though.

I am not feeling sorry for myself. The point I was trying to make was....
Why go to the UK & Europe & ignore places in the USA. That's how I feel at least.
I thought Mike didn't like it over there anyway....from past things i have read.

I'll be driving to Austin from Ft. Worth the day of the show, I hear Stubbs is a great place to see a band.

You can't expect them to go everywhere on one tour, at least you got 2 TX dates in the last 2 tours and that they tour the US pretty regulary. 1 month of European touring in the last 8 years is shite frankly so think yourself lucky. Also, the recent tour was hardly 'round Europe'. Granted, the US seems to have a bigger fan base and there are probably very few fans in eastern Europe other than the Madtwins but still, it'd have been nice if they'd a bit more time. Plus, touring in the summer when loads of people are on holiday in places like the US is annoying .
